Jews love to say prayers at this wall. I love knowing that even with all these "conflicting" religions, we are all united in that we are all worshiping God how we see God, in our own ways. I love it. It is touching. It reminded me of looking around in the temple and seeing people bring their problems and questions to the Lord in our most holy place. This is like that for the Jews.
The tradition is to walk backwards away from the wall, meaning you don't want to turn your back on God. Joni loves to go up to the wall, say a silent prayer, and then walk backwards all the way back out. They are walking backwards out here.
This wall separates the men's side from the women's side. The men's side is much bigger.
