Day 13 - Walking atop the Old City Walls

The pictures and captions in this post were added five years later.  This was a cool experience walking on top of the old city walls of Jerusalem with my mom!

We saw several school play areas, but none of them had grass to play on. Just hard floor.

Mom kept marveling that no matter how poor people seemed to be in the old city, their roofs so often had cable television dishes.

The home inspector in Mom went a little nuts when she saw this up close.

An interesting roof repair.

Hanging clothes dry seems to be common practice in the old city.

I loved being here in the spring time. The trees were so beautiful!
No matter how many times I see the BYU Jerusalem Center, I never get tired of it!
Finally we saw a playground. No grass by it, but at least it's a playground!
