Day 7 - Dinner in Nazareth

Darna Restaurante is owned by an adorable Arab family. Amy and her family ate there on a previous visit, where the mom and daughters went crazy over cute toddler Jackson.  I was so happy Amy could remember it so we could go to that exact place.

Hummus and pita bread are standard fare around here, maybe like French fries as a common side dish in the US.

Meals like we had come with many side dishes to put on the main dish.

We ordered shawarma which is lamb inside pita bread with various ethnic toppings like a vinegary cole slaw, chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, hummus, pickles, a carrot salad, and even French fries!

Amy and Mom enjoying shawarma.

The adorable Arab family who owns the restaurant.  They brought us a plate of watermelon as a gift after our meal.  The mom remembered Amy and her family from a year ago!  Such a nice family.
